Working with Us

WeAreTheCityJobs leverages the extensive traffic from our main site at wearethecity.com to promote career opportunities to our large and growing female demographic of 72k members. WeAreTheCityJobs attract both active and passive job seekers to our job board featuring roles from our clients and recruitment agencies. We use our extensive social media platforms including Twitter and Facebook to promote not just our clients’ roles, but their employer brands as well.

WeAreTheCityJobs is more than just a job board. WeAreTheCityJobs includes editorial content featuring profiles of inspirational women at all different steps on the career ladder, recruitment videos, plus show case gender initiatives such as Return to Work Programmes. This content shows our job seekers what alternative career options look like. There are also ‘client micro sites’ to further encourage our members to find out more about our client’s organisations and to seek career opportunities.

It is important to us that our clients are actively seeking ways to engage the female workforce by creating inclusive environments. Our aim is to support the recruitment of our members into roles where they will be willing and able to progress in a fulfilling career. We assess each potential partner for their suitability to join us and to ensure we have a balance of industries across our existing clients. We take our client relationships very seriously.

WeAreTheCityJobs will showcase all roles from our client firms, in particular those roles in areas such as finance, IT, and engineering where the number of women is particularly limited. We are also eager to promote flexible/part-time roles offered by our clients’ given the demand for those roles in the marketplace for job seekers with family commitments.

At WeAreTheCityJobs we want to help our partners achieve the employer brand recognition they deserve for taking action to promote female talent by providing them with their own company micro site ‘Company Insights’.
